Dr. Carrigan is a native of Hamilton, Ohio and graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She completed medical school at the Medical College of Ohio, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha, and then completed residency training in Family Medicine, also at the Medical College of Ohio. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Carrigan also has her Masters of Business Administration degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
During residency training Dr. Carrigan became interested in Bariatric Surgery and worked with the bariatric surgeon at the Medicial College of Ohio. This interest lead to her current role as Medical Director, Mercy Weight Management in Toledo, OH.
