Description

 

David Knight, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the UAB Department of Psychology. His research focuses on understanding the neural systems that affect emotion, memory and learning. Through behavioral studies and using fMRI, Knight is investigating the acquisition, expression and extinction of human Pavlovian fear conditioning. Knight has published studies in several journals, including the Journal of Neuroscience and NeuroImage. He earned his doctorate in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2002.
