Martin Heslin, M.D., is the associate director for clinical programs at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is the section chief of UAB's surgical oncology division, and is an associate scientist at the Cancer Center specializing in research and treatment advances for gastrointestinal disease and GI cancers. An associate chief of staff at UAB Hospital, Heslin is a noted surgeon and the past chief surgery resident at New York University Medical Center in Manhattan. He completed a surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer in New York.
