David Allison, Ph.D., a professor of biostatistics at the UAB School of Public Health, is head of the Section on Statistical Genetics within the UAB Department of Biostatistics. He is director the UAB Clinical Nutrition Research Center, a NIH-funded, university-wide research center comprising 110 investigators from 30 UAB academic units. Allison is a renowned obesity researcher in the fields of quantitative genetics, clinical trials and research methodology.
