Thomas DeCarlo, Ph.D. is professor and Ben S. Weil Endowed Chair of Industrial Distribution in the UAB School of Business. Dr. DeCarlo's primary research interests deal with strategic issues in sales force management, customer relationship management, and marketing communications. Dr. DeCarlo's research has been published in journals such as, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Journal of International Business Studies. He has had professional consulting relationships with a number of Fortune 500 companies, including 3M, Pepsi Food and Cisco Systems, in areas of market analysis and customer segmentation, sales force management, brand management and new product development.
