Lauren Beitelspacher, Ph.D., was formerly an assistant buyer for both Parisian and Saks Department Stores before coming to UAB as a professor of marketing. She has vast experience in supply chain retailing. Her research focuses on consumer services and relations from the retailer's perspective. She has been published in the Journal of Business Logistics and the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management among other scholarly publications. Skinner is the faculty adviser to the UAB chapter of the American Marketing Association.
