Linda Kay Emfinger, Ph.D., is an expert in early childhood education and reading instruction. She is co-author of the new book "Sharing Books Together: Promoting Emergent Literacy Through Reading Aloud and Home-School Partnerships" (2008). She is an assistant professor of early childhood education in the UAB School of Education.
