Michael J. Froning, Ed.D., is the Dean of the UAB School of Education. Froning has taught courses that examine critical issues in high school education. He is a member of the Council of Great City Colleges of Education and the Urban Educator Corps of the Great Cities Universities. Froning?s area of expertise is state of high school mathematics education. He is a member of the National Advisory Board of the Mathematics Education Collaborative.
