Mary Boggiano, Ph.D., is a psychologist who studies the neurochemical basis for abnormal eating behaviors. She is currently studying the neurochemical basis for stress induced binge eating. She has published articles in Biochemistry and Behavior, Physiology & Behavior, International Journal of Obesity, International Journal of Eating Disorders, and Pharmacology, Biochemistry & Behavior. She has been a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders, the National Eating Disorders Association and the Society for Neuroscience. Boggiano is an associate professor in the UAB Department of Psychology.
