2005 Discussion Groups

Freshman Discussion Groups

The freshman discussion groups for The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down start on Wednesday, August 17 at Bartow Arena at 1:30. Students are encouraged to gather at 1:15 to be broken into groups of 28 for the 54 discussion groups.

The freshman discussion groups will introduce students to the kinds of intellectual inquiry and exchange they can expect in college classes. The discussion groups will allow students to hear and react to ideas, facts, and opinions that challenge their personal beliefs. Students are encouraged to come with open minds and respect for others' opinions, both of which are fundamental prerequisites for college preparedness.
