This year's version of Campus Conversations will be a spring 2010 online publication of original work produced by any UAB student during the calendar year 2009 (spring, summer, and fall semesters). Student work can take multiple forms, including but not limited to essays, research reports, artwork, videos, audio slide shows, creative writing, journals, posters, and photographs.
Student work must relate to poverty, public health, health disparities, Haiti, social systems and disease, public policy, philanthropic outreach, the Caribbean, sacrifice, one person making a difference, leadership, or other topic relevant to the 2009 UAB Discussion Book, Mountains Beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, a Man Who Would Cure the World.
