Events

The University of Alabama at Birmingham has organized a series of events related to Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder.  Speakers present a range of personal, professional, and/or political perspectives on issues relevant to the book, including health disparities, public policy on health, philanthropy, and America's role in the 21st century.  The goal is not to push a particular agenda but to provide information to help everyone make more informed decisions about relevant issues.

Any member of the UAB community is welcome to attend all events after August 17.  All Discussion Book Dialogues are free and open to the general public as well.
