Project Description: There are several components to this project. One involves preparing manuscripts for publication, including review of literature, summary of literature, and interpretation of data. The second involves compiling literature and preliminary studies that will be used for NIH grant submission. Projects are funded by the American Cancer Society and National Institutes of Health.

Intern's Anticipated Duties:
Duty 1: Conducting literature reviews and summaries
Duty 2: Organizing materials for submission of grant proposal(s)
Duty 3: Analyzing data for manuscript submission and preliminary studies sections of grants

Preceptor will provide intern with access to the following: office or desk space, computer and printer; supplies neeeded to complete the project

Likelihood of authoring publications: Possible

Background, education, experience, or expertise preferred: Just the willingness to learn

This faculty member will be a CaRES Preceptor for the first time.
