Project Description: This project involves reviewing all women who have undergone a CT angiogram of the chest for the evaluation of pulmonary embolism over the past 5 years. The primary objective is to correlate clinical symptoms with a positive CT angiogram for pulmonary embolism and to ultimately determine if certain clinical findings are truly predictive of the presence of a pulmonary embolism.
Intern's Anticipated Duties:
Duty 1: To review records of all women with gynecologic malignancies who have undergone a CT angiogram of the chest for pulmonary embolism evaluation
Duty 2: To enter the above data into a database format
Duty 3: To help analyze the above outcomes described above
Preceptor will provide intern with access to the following: office or desk space, computer and printer; supplies needed to complete project; equipment needed to complete the project
