Project Description: The protocol will collect the clinical data regarding the diagnosis, treatment, and outcome of patients with kidney cancer and subsequently undergoing kidney surgery. Outcome of treatment and surgical complications can then be drawn based on this database. Retrospective analysis of surgical treatment for renal cancer provides insight into the best treatment choices for patients with kidney cancer. Building a comprehensive retrospective database at UAB where a large number of kidney cancer surgeries are performed will allow us to pose many important questions and then answer these questions using the information obtained in the database. We will be expanding the datapoints to include majority of urologic cancers. This project is in conjuction with many other world renound Cancer Centers.
