Project Description: Risk factors for pulmonary surgery include low pulmonary function test results (PFTs). the objective of this study is to determine if the percent decrease in PFTs following neoadjuvant chemo-radiotherapy directly correlates with operative risk.
Intern's Anticipated Duties:
Duty 1: Data collection - includes but is not limited to medical chart reviews, patient phone calls, using hospital data systems to obtain information and in-patient/in-person interviews
Duty 2: Data entry and basic analysis (mean, median, trends)
Duty 3: Literature search/review
Preceptor will provide intern with access to the following: office or desk space; computer and printer

Background, education, experience, or expertise preferred: Just the willingness to learn; Some medical knowledge background preferred
