Regular Part-Time Faculty Position

The UAB Department of Health Services Administration invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position, in the Master of Science in Health Informatics Program.  This position reports to the MSHI Program Director.

The Part-Time Faculty member will primarily teach courses for the Department’s nationally recognized MSHI Program. Responsibilities include teaching select courses and assisting with research involving distance learning technology applied to educations. The ideal candidate should hold at least an MSHI, MSHA, MBA, or other relevant master’s degree.  Preference will be given to applicants with experience in practice and with commitment to the field of health informatics.  The ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and other constituencies is essential.  Women, minorities, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.  Rank and salary are dependent on the successful applicant’s qualifications.
