Linda Nobles, MS, OTR/L, is currently pursuing her doctorate in special education at the University of Kansas. Prior to beginning her doctorate, Nobles was associate professor of occupational therapy at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, where she taught pediatrics and developmental disabilities for 15 years.
Nobles is a nationally recognized expert in the treatment of cortical visual impairment in children. Her research has been published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy, the Journal of Occupational Therapy Practice and the Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness.
She most recently contributed a chapter to Functional Visual Behavior for Children: An Occupational Therapy Guide to Evaluation and Treatment Options, published by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Nobles is also in demand to teach workshops in the area of visual impairment and has presented nationally and internationally on this subject.
