The Postdoctoral Career Enhancement Award was established in 2001 to provide opportunities for postdoctoral scholars to enhance their professional development. Activities include internships up to a one month period, attending workshops, visiting laboratories to perform collaborative studies, travel to national and international professional conferences to present current finds and in general, expand their horizons.
Three winners for the 2006-2007 UAB Career Enhance Awards from the Office of Post-Doctoral Studies have gone to DNS Postdocs: Xuxia Wu, Catherine DiCostanzo and Yu-Hua Hsieh. Please join me in congratulating our post-docs for a job well done!
