On average, approximately 2,500 patients are seen each year in nutrition sciences clinical venues. The clinics include:
- A nutrition clinic;
- The EatRight Weight Management Program;
- A home parenteral nutrition program;
- Inpatient nutrition consult and support services in UAB and Birmingham VAMC hospitals, and
- The EatRight Nutrition Information Service.
- Post Surgical Bariatric Medicine Clinic
Department faculty members also provide patient care through the Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment Program and the Interdisciplinary Cancer Supportive Care Program.
