Linda Goodwin, OTR/L, GC-C is an Instructor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at UAB. She has more than 26 years of clinical experience including 9 years providing low vision rehabilitation services at Retina Consultants of Southwest Florida. Linda is a certified grief counselor from American Academy of Grief Counseling. She has worked on several research studies in low vision including, most recently, an NIH-funded research project on problem solving training and low vision rehabilitation. She has presented on low vision rehabilitation at state association meetings, the annual meeting of the American Occupational Therapy Association and at Envision. She coauthored a publication on vision rehabilitation and AMD for International Ophthalmology Clinics in 2007.
