The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Health Professions (SHP) has a full-time, regular, twelve-month faculty position in the Department of Occupational Therapy. The position is an Instructor level position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Expertise in low vision and mental health is required along with prior academic, research, and clinical experience in occupational therapy. Candidates need to be eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in Alabama. Responsibilities include: teaching in area(s) of expertise, supervising student practice and or research, performing university and community service, and practicing in areas of expertise to further develop the curriculum.
