Rationale:SHP's objectives include attracting, selecting,and retaining the most qualified students for entry into academic programs; encouraging interaction of all levels of students; increasing number of minority students; and developing a mechanism for retention of minority students.
CEAP assures the student selected of a position in the Medical Technology program if maintenance criteria are met. CEAP students are provided with enrichment opportunities to enhance their education, such as interaction with other CEAP and professional phase students.
