John Dickey and Haruka Murai were honored at the Annual State Meeting of the Alabama Association of Health Information Management on May 12, 2005 as Outstanding HIM Students from the BSHIM program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. John Dickey, BSHIM graduate for August 2005, will continue his education by entering the MSHI program in Fall 2005. Haruka Murai, BSHIM graduate for May 2005, returns to Kawakita General Hospital, Tokyo, Japan as the Health Information Administrator.
