Masters of Science in Health Administration Program Ranked 7th by U.S. News and World Reports

The MSHA program prepares students to assume executive leadership positions in a broad range of health services organizations.

The Master of Science in Health Administration (MSHA) Program has moved from 10th up to 7th in the US News and World Report rankings of Master’s programs in Health Management.   The MSHA program prepares students to assume executive leadership positions in a broad range of health services organizations including hospitals, health systems, physician group practices, long-term care facilities, consulting firms, and insurance companies.   The program enjoys an excellent reputation, both regionally and nationally, for the high quality of its academic program and the achievements of its more than 900 graduates.

The Department of Health Services Administration includes five top-ranked programs, as well as a variety of continuing education opportunities for health services executives. Several of the programs are the only one of their kind in the state of Alabama, first of their kind in the nation, and ranked in the top ten in the nation. Graduates of these programs enjoy high starting salaries and abundant job opportunities.
