The next Gingerbread House Workshop is scheduled for Friday, November 16th from 2:00 – 4:00 in LRC 104. Sarah Morgan will be hosting the workshop and teaching how to make a graham cracker house. All supplies will be furnished. It’s not too late to sign up if you want to attend the workshop. Just email me and I will add your name to the list.
The actual Gingerbread House and Graham Cracker House competition, sponsored by the SHP Diversity Committee and Nutrition Sciences, will be held on Friday, December 14th in conjunction with our SHP faculty and staff holiday reception. We encourage every Department and Division in SHP to enter at least one house. If you are interested in having your house auctioned off, all proceeds from the auction will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. There will also be a competition with outside judges brought in to select the winners.
