The radiation therapy program at UAB is dedicated to the provision of quality healthcare through the education of radiation therapists who are competent to meet the needs of patients and employers. Additionally, the program will promote values and skills that provide the basis for continuing professional development in radiation oncology.
The program’s goals are to develop radiation therapists who will:
- provide competent service to patients and employers;
- pass the national credentialing exam; and
- engage in professional and service activities for the development of personal and professional growth.
