The Dietetic Internship Program is offered as an on campus option in Birmingham and off campus option in Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile and Montgomery.
Although most daily schedules are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., schedules vary, with the earliest beginning at 5:30 a.m. and the latest ending at 9:00 p.m. Since the institution is in continual operation, interns may be scheduled on irregular work patterns involving weekends and holidays.
In addition to clinical rotations and class time, students will be required to complete library research, modules, case studies, and other assignments.
