The National Cancer Institute-funded Cancer Prevention and Control Training Program at
UAB provides the following support amounts, according to a scale set by the UAB Dean’s
Council for Graduate Medical Education.
National Institutes of Health guidelines stipulate that this support is available only to citizens
and permanent residents of the U.S. Persons who are not citizens or permanent residents of the
U.S. must have independent funding in order to apply for the fellowship program.
